We started with a simple idea: create a roleplay server where the community comes first. Three years later, that vision has grown into one of the most respected FiveM communities.
Tropical Roleplay was founded at the beginning of 2026 by a group of friends who were tired of the same old server experience. We wanted something different - a place where roleplay quality mattered more than player count, and where every member of the community had a voice.
What started as a small server with a handful of players has grown into a thriving community. But we've never lost sight of what made us special in the first place: genuine connections, quality roleplay, and a welcoming environment for everyone.
Our development team works tirelessly to create custom features that enhance the roleplay experience without breaking immersion. Every script, every system, every update is designed with one question in mind: does this make the RP better?
Server Launch (vMenu Era)
We officially launched with a vMenu-based framework, starting our journey and opening the server to our first players.
Major Framework Transition (Qbox Migration)
We moved from vMenu to Qbox, upgrading performance, systems, and long-term development potential.
Community Expansion
Rapid growth across Discord and in-game activity, with new staff onboarding and the community structure being expanded.
